Moody Yachts have been highly regarded as soundly built comfortable sailing cruisers for many years. Originally built in wood, they embraced GRP in 1965 and both built and sold their branded yachts produced by Marine Projects in Plymouth. They maintained their highly regarded market position and this continues after Moody was acquired by the German Hanse Yachts yard in Greifswald, where for Moody Yachts they primarily focus on the Deck Saloon range of blue water cruisers designed by Bill Dixon, who features throughout much of Moody’s history.
