Hull, Deck & Keel
- Single skin GRP hull and deck with cast iron bulbed fin keel.
- Hull and deck laminated together to provide a mono-coque single structure.
- Hand laid solid laminate with stringers and floors in way of the keel and loading areas.
- Bulkheads are laminated in place.
- The deck is a solid laminate with core-mat and reinforced deck beams.
- Furniture bases are plywood, laminated to the hull to further strengthen the structure.
- The heads unit, engine tray and galley are incorporated on one internal moulding glassed to the hull, thus keeping the 'wet - messy areas in one easy clean area.
- Semi balanced spade rudder using the unique mono-coque construction. Tiller steering
- Hull epoxied from new and again in 2015 after careful preparation for 3 coats of copper coating.
