Broadblue 346 Catamaran for sale - A rare opportunity to acquire a stunning example of the Broadblue 346 cruising catamaran. Certificated for launch in 2021, Kashmir has cruised the Central South Coast of England.
This boat is immensely well designed by Dazcat Design, well known for impressively fast Catamarans, this cruising boat has been designed to pack in the most accommodation into an area that does not cause complications for those wanting to cruise simply. The fine entry but high volume hulls gives plenty of room and raises the central accommodation to avoid excessive slamming. This hull has evolved and embraced all that is good in cruising multihulls.
Her length is not excessive and does not fall prey to longer berthing charges. Her width has been restrained to allow her to pass through the French canals if that is the preferred route to the sun and the Mediterranean. You can even stow the mast diagonally across the boat without it protruding further than the the boat!
For sailing, her mast is set further aft to allow sail handling to be conducted safely from the cockpit, this configuration reduces pitching and allows for the use of easy handling roller furling headsails providing a huge power house which is easily controlled and eased but also draws the boat down wind in gusts to avoid any pressure on the helm. As all Multihull sailors know, in a gust, bear away. The Broadblue 346 just makes things easy which obviously goes a long way to justifying her Category A credentials.
