Boat Details

The Nauticat 36 has a transom rather that the canoe stern and thus provides more room in the aft state room.

Polar Bear II is a much loved and well used Nauticat 36 Motor Sailor. Originally, A ketch, this was removed to allow room for a gantry and the mounting of 'live-aboard' requirements. Now a  mast-head, sloop rigged example she has served her owners well.

This model is highly rated as a classic motor sailor with a comfortable motion, easily handled by a small crew. A very nice long distance, live-aboard cruising boat, be it offshore sailing or coastal cruising. She offers excellent liveaboard for extended period living, enjoying. 6 berths in 3 cabins plus wheel house.

The accommodation really delivers. 

A raised deck saloon and wheelhouse provides day lounging. Step down to the saloon/Galley area gives lounging and dining space to port with a linear galley to starboard. The saloon table area can convert to provide a double berth.

Forward of this is a heads/shower unit set to port and forward a generous double V Berth. 

Aft of the wheelhouse and two steps down is a spacious double aft cabin (Large double set to port,  with en-suite heads (to starboard).
